“…This photo series (720 Minutes), which serves as a 12 hour timeline when viewed together, is broken into five parts of what my typical day was like in Saigon:
(1) 8AM early morning walk at my grandma’s neighbourhood;
(2a)(2b) 10AM grocery shopping at the local market with my aunt;
(3) 1PM buying gifts for relatives back home in Canada;
(4) 2-8PM running the home restaurant at night.”

After a one hour excursion, we made it just in time to help out the restaurant at home! Setting up Ly Tuong (the restaurant) in the vestibule area, which includes a wok area up front. Ly Tuong serves Cantonese/Guangdong style cuisine. Here's my cousin preparing the vegetable station. Garnishes and vegetables ready to go. Ice buckets for shrimps and squid are placed in those two medium sized cardboard boxes. Serving our first customer of the day. Here's our guest getting ready for their take-out. Cooking station supplies Seating area up front with free parking spaces Chow Mein made by my cousin Sour Sop and Sugar Apples Around 5 PM, serving guests later in the evening Guests awaiting for their food in front of our house Delivery of supplies has arrived My aunt commanding her station Pumping some gas to the wok and creating a scene. Guests enjoying their Canton-style dinner. Full on work mode at Ly Tuong...
